Work
School and Training
Courses cost money and time. While he studies, he is at school and cannot work. Businesses keep earning.
Businesses
Expensive, but they earn while you rest. Each city gives them local names, and each one appears on your street.
Investors
How investors work. Everything he earns, in every city, adds to one lifetime total. When that total passes $5,000,000, investors start to gather, and the richer the run gets, the more of them queue up. The button below makes the trade: every investor joins at once, and in exchange the whole empire resets. Money, businesses, cities, his job and his skills all go back to the start. What stays is the investors themselves, the lifetime total, and his achievements. Each investor raises all earnings everywhere by 0.5%, forever, so every new run climbs faster than the last.
Achievements
Small medals for big potato energy.
How to play
Work. Tap the big Work button, tap the potato himself, or press the spacebar. Fast tapping builds a combo, and a long combo pays up to 50% more. About one click in twenty is lucky and pays five times.
School. Courses take real time and unlock better paying jobs. He studies even while the game is closed.
Businesses. Buy stands, shops, and towers. They earn on their own, even while you are away, up to 2 hours.
Mood and health. Work makes him tired and hungry. Low happiness pays less and slows his clicking. Low health pays less too: under half health, every click and every business earns less as he fades, down to forty percent at empty. Food and sleep bring the rate back. The shop sells food, coffee, and stronger medicine. Mind the rum: it is fun, it is not free. Every rum leaves a Tipsy debuff for two minutes, and the debuffs stack. Five Tipsy at once and he is out cold for five minutes, and the Captain story plays. Rums spread out over an evening never stack, and never drop him.
Cities. Earn enough to move to a richer city. Pay and prices both climb. The Explore city view shows the whole city from above.
Day and night. Ten minutes of day, then five minutes of night, opening with a sunrise and closing with a sunset. Working the clicks wears his health down all day long, slowly in daylight and four times faster after dark. The Sleep button appears at night and puts him to bed until daybreak, and he wakes with his health fully back. Cities that live at night, like Neon Heights, keep their own sky, but the clock rules everywhere.
Investors. Everything you earn, in every city, adds to one lifetime total, and that total decides how many investors want in. Claiming them resets everything: money, businesses, cities, your job and every skill. Only the investors, your achievements and your lifetime total stay. The full deal is in the Investors panel above.
